Students will learn how to see ordinary items in fresh ways, experiment with texture and layering, and develop expressive techniques that expand the boundaries of traditional drawing with Julienne Hogarth in this FREE hands-on class.
No registration required. All materials will be provided. Doors open at 4pm and the class will run from 5-8pm.
Marks can take on diverse forms, from precise lines and intricate patterns to gestural strokes and textured surfaces, each with its unique character and meaning. Discover new ways to make marks and unlock creativity beyond the pencil and brush. In this hands-on class, we’ll explore experimental tools and unexpected materials—such as string, leaves, coffee, found objects, and more—to create dynamic drawings. This class is perfect for artists of all levels who want to loosen up, play, and reimagine what drawing can be.
