About the event
Come learn the art of paper marbling with local artist and educator Jenniffer Omaitz. This is a FREE hands-on class. No registration required. All materials will be provided. Doors open at 4pm and the class will run from 5-8pm.
Class maxiumum capacity is 50 participants - first come, first serve!
Instructor Bio:
Jenniffer Omaitiz is an artist and educator living in Kent, Ohio. Jenniffer established JC Marbling in 2016 as a marbling and book arts studio. Jenniffer specializes in unique books, experimental books, and hand-marbled paper. She embrace the tradition of marbling in practice as it has originated in England, France, Italy Spain, and Turkey, but take risks with color and application. By exploring non-traditional color combinations and utilizing double and triple dip methods of marbling she strives to bring this ancient art into the 21st century.
