Studio Class: Reductive Block Printing with Micah Kraus

Micah will instruct the class in using soft linoleum to make multi-layered prints of his designs with a reductive printing process. 

This is a FREE hands-on class. No registration required. All materials will be provided.  Doors open at 4pm and the class will run from 5-8pm.

Instructor Bio:

Micah Kraus owns and runs Genuine Article, a one-man studio located in Akron, Ohio. The name comes from a desire to create work that represents Akron's authentic, slightly threadbare and simply sincere community. Micah is most at home when creating in his studio, and gets a lot of joy out of creating things that he knows people will live with in their daily lives. His favorite aspect of creating new work is the process. Printmaking requires backwards thinking and the ability to pull together diverse tools, techniques and approaches.
